Edgar Solorzano is a professional bass player and synthesizer artist based in South Florida with over 20 years of live and studio experience. Known for his versatility, groove, and stage presence, he has performed everything from Latin pop and funk to rock, R&B, and electronic music.

Edgar’s career began in Venezuela with the band VIA, where he honed his craft performing up to six nights a week. He later joined Nauta, formed by former members of Grammy-winning group Voz Veis, touring nationally and internationally while contributing to their acclaimed album Al Natural. Along the way, he also worked closely with Venezuelan favorites Mermelada Bunch.

Since moving to the U.S., Edgar has built a diverse portfolio. He is a full-time member of the high-energy corporate/wedding group South Florida Heatwave, while also performing with ensembles such as VAM Band, The Negotiators, and Streetlight. During the pandemic, he launched his own recording project, Miami Mambo System, producing the album One from his home studio.

Beyond the stage, Edgar is deeply engaged in digital music content. His YouTube channel "@EdgarSolorzanoBass" features bass covers, tutorials, and live performance clips, attracting a growing international audience. He is also endorsed by Spector Basses, Phil Jones Bass, LK Straps, and Barefoot Buttons.

Whether on tour, in the studio, or online, Edgar brings passion, precision, and creativity to every note, making him one of the most versatile and in-demand bass players in the region.
